Robin Kennedy Tax Season Accountant Robin was born and raised in Blackford County, where she graduated from Blackford High School in 1985. She went on to major in Accounting at Taylor University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in 1989. After graduating from college, Robin moved to Indianapolis and worked for two large regional CPA firms. She married Tim Kennedy, a native of Huntington. They relocated from Indianapolis to Huntington in 1993 where they currently reside. At that time, Robin was hired to work for our firm. She worked with us for 5 years. Robin and Tim started their family, and Robin decided to begin her own home-based accounting company so she could be home with her children. Since that time, she has provided controller services, primarily for farming companies, and in addition, she assists our firm by preparing tax returns during tax season. Robin and Tim keep busy with their three teen children, Drew, Austin, and Erika. They are all active at Huntington First Church of the Nazarene where they have attended since 1996. Robin has been involved in many capacities at the church including teaching Sunday School in the Children's Ministries, Small Group Leader for 4th and 5th graders, VBS, as well as, volunteering in the infant nursery. Her most recent church involvement has been teaching an adult Sunday School class, which she has thoroughly enjoyed. Robin has volunteered many hours in the local school classrooms. She has also been involved in the Blackford County Relay for Life. Robin loves spending time with her family, reading, decorating, and landscaping. Back to Staff Listing
